Christmastime's coming round, which means it's a time for giving and charity. My favorite type of giving's the one where people let me take their money. Most people call it poker.

Alright, I think we're so wrapped up in Halloween jitters that we're forgetting the stuff that's real important.

And by important I mean baseball. World Series, who're you sweet on? On the one hand you got the Cardinals, and on the other there's a made-up team from Texas.

Alright, alright, I got one of those question thingamabobs:

What exactly makes a person dress up in a costume, call themselves something silly, and try and take on the world? Especially if you don't got powers, especially if you can just fall in with the rest of us folks.

I mean, I know why I did it, but I figure that was a special circumstance.

Did you know Canada has a day?

I didn't, but it says so right in the papers. How do you think they managed to stuff all those patriotic singing days right into the first weeks of July?

I think if I were starting a country, I'd pick January.
